Jennifer Watson, BSEE, serves as a Field Director for School Advancement at Instructional Empowerment. Within this role, she leads IE coaches in implementing the Model of Instruction for Deeper Learning in schools, driving transformative change and cultivating rigorous classroom instruction. With a deep commitment to fostering student agency, Jennifer brings extensive expertise in school turnaround.
Jennifer’s key responsibilities include spearheading school turnaround strategies and interventions to enhance teaching practices and boost student achievement. She guides and oversees the implementation of IE’s Model of Instruction for Deeper Learning, tailoring it to address each school’s unique needs. Jennifer also builds strong relationships with all stakeholders to foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Additionally, she monitors progress and makes data-informed adjustments to ensure sustainable and impactful change.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Drury University in Springfield, MO. She also completed six years of advanced coursework as part of a master-level STEM partnership with Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla, MO. Through this initiative, designed to spark student interest in science and math, Jennifer collaborated closely with the university to promote STEM education.
