Biography

Sara Croll is the Division Executive Director of Growth and Revenue at Instructional Empowerment. Sara’s unique experience in education across a range of Title 1 schools throughout Florida includes teaching elementary through college-level students, mentoring, and serving as an instructional coach.

In her roles as IE’s Lead on the Research and Development team and Implementation Specialist, Sara spent countless hours in the field building relationships with educators, hearing the biggest challenges they face. Additionally, as she helped build Institute for Education Innovation—a superintendent think-tank group of over 150 members—she learned to listen to superintendents’ pain points and create events and partnerships to help alleviate their challenges and showcase the important work happening in their districts. Sara now actively brings the voice of the customer to the forefront of her and IE’s work.

Sara’s experience in leadership roles within education and EdTech spans more than 20 years, with a focus on building lasting client relationships and leveraging deep industry insights to innovate customer satisfaction approaches, elevate retention rates, deepen customer engagement, and maximize business outcomes with proven revenue growth.

Sara is a national speaker and published author of “Student Teaming: You Got This!”. She earned her undergraduate degree at Loyola University Chicago, where she concentrated on service for others through philanthropy work with children locally and internationally. She earned her master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from the University of Phoenix and a master’s in educational leadership from the American College of Education.

As a first-generation college graduate, Sara understands the challenges that many students and families face and remains a tireless advocate for children and their wide range of needs. She believes deeply that empowering students with agency over their own learning sets them on a path to greater success in the future. Sara is proud to be part of Instructional Empowerment’s mission to transform education.
